New to Yoga? Tips for First Timers
As with any form of exercise, avoid eating a heavy meal before coming to class. A light snack one or 2 hours before is fine. It’s a good idea to drink water before and after class. Wear comfortable clothing that you can move easily in, eg a T-shirt and track pants or leggings. We usually practice yoga in bare feet but socks may be worn if necessary.
Mats and props are provided except for the Vinyasa Flow class, where we kindly request that you bring your own mat for hygiene reasons (it’s a sweaty practice!).
